Body
What if your most important job was to be the happiest, healthiest human possible?
The BODY is our Physical Anchor of Presence, It holds the imprint of stress, pattern, and survival — And it also holds the intelligence of regulation, safety, and truth.
Alysa’s work with the body begins with learning to feel into sensation rather than bypass it — to recognize patterns of tension, release constriction, and return to a regulated state of being. This understanding was shaped through lived experience. After years of disconnection and cycles of self-abandonment through substance use, Alysa found her way back to herself through yoga. What began as a personal path of healing became the foundation of her professional work.
She completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2011, followed by an in-depth 650-hour Yoga Therapy Certification in 2014, with a specialization in somatic therapy for addiction recovery. Continuing education in the healing arts, combined with her lived experience, inform a grounded, trauma-aware approach to embodiment and nervous system regulation.
With over a decade of professional experience in therapeutic, corporate and studio settings, Alysa has developed a grounded methodology that helps individuals reconnect to the body through mindful, embodied practice. Through this work, the body becomes a gateway to:
• nervous system regulation
• increased clarity and presence
• deeper self-awareness
• emotional resilience
• grounded confidence in daily life
Rather than forcing movement or performance, this approach emphasizes attunement and safety. By meeting the body with awareness and care, the nervous system is able to settle — allowing decision-making, creativity, and alignment to emerge naturally.
Physical alignment is A gateway to energetic awareness and Foundation for embodied presence.
