THE PRESENCE METHOD™

For Education

DEVELOPING THE HUMAN SKILLS YOUNG PEOPLE NEED FOR THE WORLD THEY’RE ENTERING.

As technology changes how young people learn, communicate and prepare for their future, the ability to navigate themselves and one another becomes increasingly important.

The Presence Method™ brings Body, Breath & Story into learning environments through practical, experiential practices that strengthen self-awareness, regulation, communication, discernment, creativity and connection.

Programs can support students, educators and learning communities across traditional, innovative and therapeutic environments.

Preparing young people for the future is about more than what they know.

It’s about who they become.

Grounded EXPERIENCE:

Alysa Osvog is a Certified Yoga Therapist, Breathwork and Writing Facilitator with more than a decade of experience working with young people across behavioral health, special education and juvenile detention.

Her work is grounded in the ability to build trust without losing authority. She meets young people without judgment and gives them practical tools they can choose to use in real life.

The Presence Method™ grew from this work: young people need more than information. They need opportunities to experience and practice what they are learning through Body, Breath and Story.

Her work complements the educators, clinicians and professionals already supporting young people, bringing practical, experiential tools into the learning environment.

  • The Presence Method led by Alysa Osvog to regulate the nervous system, expand capacity and lead with embodied presence.

    4-WEEK PRESENCE EXPERIENCE

A four-week experiential application of The Presence Method™ that helps young people develop practical ways to navigate their internal experience, relationships and the world around them.

    WEEK 1 — REGULATE
Recognize what is happening within you and practice returning to the present moment.

    WEEK 2 — DISCERN
Create space between what you feel, the story you tell and how you respond.

    WEEK 3 — EXPAND
Explore communication, creativity, connection and new possibilities.

    WEEK 4 — INTEGRATE
Turn insight into practices that can travel into school, relationships and everyday life.

  • CUSTOM EDUCATION ENGAGEMENTS

Built around your students, educators + learning environment.

Every learning community has its own culture, philosophy, population and priorities. The Presence Method™ can be adapted to complement the work already happening within your environment.

Engagements may include student experiences, educator and staff workshops, Body, Breath & Story programming, leadership experiences, digital practice resources and customized programs exploring themes such as regulation, communication, creativity, human connection and navigating technology with greater discernment.

Rather than beginning with a predetermined solution, we begin by understanding your community and build the engagement from there.
